Charity Golf Day
6th September 2012 – Falmouth Golf Club

The Tournament:
Falmouth GC was bathed in sunshine all day and there was not a ripple to be seen out to sea, but watching the ships pass by as we played the coast holes, looking across to Pendennis Castle was grand !!
The CDSSG team came sixth out of the twenty teams that took part, but our team member Andy Jones got the longest drive of the day; other team members for us were myself, Richard Jasper and Richard Bartlett. The picture with the cheque has yet to be taken, but it is done, I will ask for a copy so we can put it on the web site. The day consisted of playing 18 hole Texas scramble, quite a good format and very entertaining; followed by a carvary – all very nice. Big thanks to Falmouth GC allowing Barclays to host the event at their course.
