CDSSG Co-ordinator vacancy
How would you like to come and work for the Cornwall Down’s Syndrome Support Group?
We are looking for a dynamic person with great people skills and organisational skills to support what we do as a co-ordinator.
This post is permanent for ten hours a week and you will work from home.
The Cornwall Down’s Syndrome Support Group has around 100 families across the county within its membership.
We offer families a chance to meet, socialise and share information, friendship and support, through a variety of mediums including dance projects, speech and language and dual diagnosis support, drop-in sessions and get togethers. We also support new parents.
CDSSG is run by a committee of volunteers all of whom have a child or young person with the condition.
We are looking for someone who has great people skills and fantastic administrative and coordination skills with an ability to spin plates! You will be able to confidently manage your own workload and manage conflicting priorities.
You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills, have the ability to manage our events and enjoy working with families. We are ideally looking for someone who can write funding bids and manage the projects if successful in those bids.
Experience is helpful, but not essential.
The closing date for applications has been extended to May 10th 2021
