Cornwall to Paris Cycling Challenge 2010

Sunday 27th June to 4th July 2010:

Our cyclists displaying a cheque for a wonderful £21,000A massive £21,000 has been raised by all the budding cyclists  who  who braved extreme heat for the 2010 Launceston to Paris cycle challenge!

Charity Golf Day

Sunday 17th October 2010:

Michael Armstrong receives a cheque for £800 for CDSSG!The Charity Am Am at St Austell golf club on Sunday 17th October was a great success. On a beautiful sunny day over 100 members and visitors played .

The monies were split between two charities, Cornwall Downs Syndrome Support Group and the Centenary Academe course fund.

The winners of the Bob Bromley last chance trophy were

1st Garry Warren, Martin Bullock, Mark Hawke & Gary Bone
2nd Rob Smaridge, Peter Clarricoats, Ian Garwood & Gary Hooper
3rd Colin Marshall, P.J Lund, Alex Symes & Carl Burley

The picture is of Tony Pitts and Kevin Metherell presenting a cheque for £800 to Mike Armstrong of the Downs Syndrome Support Group .

The Centenary Academe course fund received the same amount £800 plus a single donation of £250 from a member.
