Saturday 13th March:

Winter Party

Children's entertainment and a buffet tea will be provided. Admission is free for the child or young person with DS, their siblings, parents/carers. Additional family or friends are £5 each.

Again, please return the newsletter booking form to confirm your attendance.

Saturday 13th to Sunday 14th March:

FREE Family Activity Weekends

There are four sessions over each weekend organised by AHDC Shortbreak Programme in Cornwall which could include: abseiling, climbing, zip wire, archery, crate stack, ropes challenge, KMX/hand crank bikes, sailing, canoeing and kayaking (actual Timetable TBC).

To qualify for a FREE weekend break applicants must be a) in receipt of the Higher Rate of DLA and b) be willing to share your experience and give feedback.

Inclusive Sportsability Club

This club aims to provide inclusive sports following the Paralympic and Special Olympic sports for disabled and non-disabled children aged 9-16 (school year 5-11).

Well known individual and team paralympic sports such as tennis, badminton, athletics and swimming are offered as well as the more unusual events like judo, archery, fencing and boccia.

The club links into Sport England, Youth Sport Trust and Parasports Playground to Podium Initiative, giving participants the opportunity to talent identified and to follow a pathway to potential podium success.
